The Team's Purpose
Our motto has always been, ‘because we care.’
And we continually ask ourselves what that means for us within the concepts of our projects and design, our client relationships, business management, and both our close-knit community as well as the earth which keeps us grounded.
In our meetings, we share how it shows up in our everyday, how we’re working to cultivate more of it in our community, and now we seek to celebrate our care with you!
In all that we do and how we show up, we make sure that our answer to the question, ‘do we want to be a proud part of this story we find ourselves in and are naturally a part of creating?’ is always a profound ‘yes!’ It changes the entire atmosphere of what we’re doing as one.
Here are just a few of the concepts we answer, ‘because we care,’ to. It’s how we’re always learning and improving. It’s how we’re creating the change we collectively hope to see.

We carry mindfulness within our actions, we manage our sites with high safety standards, commit to clear communication and a consistent contemplation of our motto “because we care,” often educating each other and sharing our knowledge base on materials & experience, and last but not least – we practice diversity and equity, ever refining our business model to meet sustainability milestones and goals.
Client & Team Relations
- Putting the other first, we listen and use empathy and conscious communication skills which applies to how we treat each other in our team as well
- We do our best to be our word, to not take things personally, nor make assumptions
- We stay curious in the process
- Most of our crew members have a regular meditation practice and, throughout the day, our teams take regular stretch breaks as well as drop in for breath awareness and attunements
